This Is Happening!

Stafford Twp seems hopeful to fast track another single use plastic bag ban according to the latest SandPaper article HERE. Very interesting story. It states  Long Beach Township is the first municipality in the state to adopt the ban.

“We can’t have plastic bags floating around in water,” Long Beach Township Mayor Joseph Mancini said. “It’s just ridiculous. It’s time to get rid of them.”

If anyone’s been down recently you probably have noticed the beautiful ice flow that we’ve been experiencing this winter.

Surf City Snowstorm and Your Gas Meter!

January 4th was a doozy! Important reminder here regarding gas meters. It’s important to keep your natural gas meter clear of snow and ice buildup.
The gas pressure vent on your meter needs to be kept clear to avoid the potential for dangerous indoor natural gas buildup. The vent can become plugged when ice and snow melt during the day and refreeze at night.
Stay safe during and after the storm. If you suspect a gas leak, leave the area and call the gas leak hotline at 800-582-7060. Remember, this number is for gas leaks only.
