Sand Sculpture Contest
On Wednesday August 14th, at 10:00am, join us for our annual Sand Sculpture Contest: our most popular event of the Summer! The event takes place at 14th street beach. Judging begins at 1:00pm. Winners in categories for kids, teens, adults and groups take home trophies…plus certificates for all participants! The rain date is Thursday, August 15th at 10:00am. August 24th Town Hall Meeting: Keeping Surf City Safe
Join us Saturday, August 24th, at the Firehouse, for a Town Hall Meeting on Beach and Public Safety. Speakers will include Mark Dileo, head of the Surf City Beach Patrol and Chief Mike Wolfschmidt of the Surf City Volunteer Fire & EMS Company. Breakfast will be available at 9:45am and the meeting begins at 10:00am.
