September Borough Council Meeting – Interesting Stats for All

On September 10th, the Surf City Borough Council met and revealed some interesting facts about the summer. For instance:

  • Beach badge revenue was $541,700 in 2014. That beat 2013 by $37,995
  • There were 210 rescues on the beaches this summer
  • There were some “classic facts” about the police work in town during August:
  • There were 42 investigations. There was $7,804 in stolen property, $3,300 of which was recovered. There were six arrests, including one kid. There were also 163 parking violations. There were 14 car accidents.
