The last wild month of the Summer is upon us! Over the next few weeks we will have some awesome events such as the Casino Bus Trip to the Tropicana in Atlantic City, the Sand Sculpture contest, our Town Hall Meeting, and the 2nd Mini Golf Tournament of the Summer. There are some additional details and changes to our calendar. Read on for more details about this weeks’ events!
Casino Bus Trip to the Tropicana in Atlantic City
Monday August 6th, bus departs from St Thomas Parking lot and 14th Street Surf City at 9.00 am and returns at 6:00 PM. The cost is Twenty dollars and each person will receive back $15.00 in slot dollars and a free show ticket to see Kevin and Caruso Magique Show Grand Illusions 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Sand Sculpture Contest
On Wednesday August 8th, at 10:00am, join us for our annual Sand Sculpture Contest: our most popular event of the Summer! The event takes place at 14th street beach. Judging begins at 1:00pm.Winners in categories for kids, teens, adults and groups take
home trophies…plus certificates for all participants! The rain date is Thursday, August 9th at 10:00am.

Big Events Happening the 2nd Half of This Month!

This Tuesday, 7/17/18 is the Flea Market at the Surf City Firehouse. At the end of this month on 7/31/18 is the Surflight Theater Show and Lunch! Read below for more information about these upcoming events.

Flea Market

Join us this Tuesday, July 17th at the Surf City Firehouse (713 Long Beach Blvd., Surf City, NJ) from 9am-4pm for our annual Flea Market! There is no admission charge. Bring your family and friends to shop the inside and outside vendors. Also participate in the Silent Auction and our famous Bucket Raffles for a chance to win new and donated items and gift cards. Refreshments, beverages and baked goods available. New and nearly new items, along with crafts, books and much more also for sale.

Surflight Theater Show & Lunch

Join us at the Surflight Theater Tuesday, July 31st for The Wedding Singer followed by Lunch at The Surf City Hotel. Tickets are $50 each. For Reservations, Call Carol at 609.540.9594 by 7/15/18. Restaurant has been changed to Surf City Hotel and scheduled for 11:30am now instead of 12:00pm. Please call carol for

Make Plans To Be In Town!

Three big events are happening in Surf City this weekend! On Saturday, June 23rd is our annual Meet The Mayor Meeting and The Surf City Business Cooperative’s Surf The Sidewalk Event. On Monday June 25th, the weekly Farmer’s Market at the SC Firehouse begins.

Meet The Mayor

Meet Mayor Francis Hodgson at 10AM and be part of our traditional town hall event. But come early (9:45am) for some breakfast treats! The meeting will be held in the Surf City Firehouse (713 North Long Beach Blvd). Come prepared with your questions for the Mayor and learn all about how Surf City compares to other LBI towns. 

Surf The Sidewalk

Over 80 merchants in Surf City have banded together to form The Surf City Business Cooperative, with a mission to market the unique tourism and commerce elements of our town. On June 23rd from 10:00am to 6:00pm, pop into all the galleries, boutiques, restaurants, and professional service establishments in Surf City. You’ll get free samples, see great sales, and find all kinds of special events! Look for the sign you see to the right at participating businesses, or click below to go to the SCBC Website.

The Surf City Farmer’s Market is back!

The SC Farmer’s Market is bringing fresh, local produce and artisans to LBI on a weekly basis! The Market will run every Monday from June 25 through August 27, from 4PM-7PM (note the new times) at the Surf City Firehouse (713 Long Beach Blvd).
