SCTA Announces 2022 Calendar of Events

The Surf City Taxpayer Association is pleased to announce our Calendar of Events for the Summer of 2022.

This year is the first ever Surf City Community Day — where businesses and organizations in town welcome residents and visitors to the Summer of 2022. Scheduled for Saturday, June 25th, the day features events throughout the Borough, with registration starting at 12:30 pm at the Firehouse. Our traditional “Meet the Mayor Meeting” begins with coffee at 9:45 and the meeting starting at 10:00 am.

See below for a mix of activities, including many offered by the Surf City Fire/EMS company.

Your Surf City Taxpayer Association (SCTA) is excited about all the events we have planned for this Summer! Our Board continues to work on your behalf building a great Summer full of fun activities we hope you will participate in. See what we have planned below!

Sand Sculpture Contest

One of the coolest and most popular events of the summer! Prizes for kids, teens, adults and groups – Winners can take home a trophy!

Foul Shooting Contest

Girls and boys through age 18 have the chance to show their skills and compete for cool prizes. Mini Hoops for ages 6 and younger!

Mini Golf Tournaments

Family and friends play together and compete individually for cash prizes in children, teen and adult age groups.

Meet The Mayor Meeting

Each year, we offer a one-time chance to meet and hear from our Mayor, the Honorable Francis Hodgson. Francis Hodgson has been mayor since January 6th, 2016, after being a member of the Surf City Council for more than four decades. During this meeting you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions (and hear the questions and concerns of your neighbors and fellow taxpayers). The Mayor will address issues that have recently been raised by citizens and businesses. ?
