The second Mini Golf Tournament of 2017 was held at island Golf and once again the competition was keen. In each age group the first place winner won by only one stroke, and one bracket had a playoff for first place. In the under 9 years of age the winner was Noah Krashner who is 8 years old. Finishing second, one shot behind Noah was Thayer Got, and Carly Ewing finished a strong third. There was a one shot difference among all three of the players.
In the 9 – 14 division David Profit captured the first place prize money by shooting a 40 for 18 holes. His round featured three holes in one and he finished the back nine shooting 6 under par. One shot behind was Derek posting a 41 and right at his heels was Michael Sesko shooting a 42.
The senior Division needed a playoff to determine the winner and Jim Weidner won on the first playoff hole. Jim’s 18 hole score was 35. Jim made 9 straight pars on the back nine. Finishing second was Nolen Hayes and the third place winner was Connor Smith .
