Our fourth March nor-easter rolled through on the 21st ushering in spring w/a bang! The island got around 10″ of the white stuff and there is some moderate beach erosion showing in Surf City now.
Also the snowy owl in Holgate is still hanging around here in our early spring season. Some hearty hikers have been taking to the beautiful refuge to try and snag a glimpse and a photo of the fat bird!
