Now that the lifeguards are all gone here in Surf City there are signs posted all over town stating the beaches are unguarded. We all want to enjoy the ocean during these last few days of summer and some even venture into the ocean during the early part of fall. So please, if you must go for a swim do it with the utmost care and responsibility. Try not to swim alone and be aware of dangerous conditions such as rip currents.
