Nor-easters, Super Moons, and Hurricanes

It’s been a busy last week of September weather wise here in Surf City. The wind blew northeast for days and days ushering out summer and welcoming fall. And now all eyes are on hurricane Joaquin. If you have property here you might want to consider getting here to secure your property before the storm makes landfall. Predictions are a bit uncertain at this time so monitor the storm closely.

This website (noaa.gov)  is VERY useful for checking tropical weather in the Atlantic.

Hope some of you got to view the September Super Moon followed by the eclipse here in Surf City. It started out cloudy at moonrise and by the time the eclipse began the sky had  cleared beautifully.
