Each year, The Surf City Taxpayer Association offers a one-time chance to meet and hear from our Mayor, the Honorable Francis Hodgson. During this meeting you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions (and hear the questions and concerns of your neighbors and fellow taxpayers). After experiencing standing room only crowds, the meeting is moving to the Firehouse. So come early. Starting at 9:45 am, enjoy free breakfast treats courtesy of the new bakery in town, Beach Buns. The meeting will begin at 10:00am
Also on Saturday, June 17 — all day and into the evening –experience the kickoff event for Surf City Business Cooperative (SCBC): Surf The Sidewalk. Merchants all over town will help you celebrate the start of the summer with special sales, music, giveaways, free classes and more. The Farmers Market will commence on Mondays starting June 26, 8am-Noon running through Aug 28. Location- Surf City Firehouse.
