On Saturday, a crowd of over 100 taxpayers took full advantage of the opportunity to engage with Mayor Francis Hodgson. After The Mayor talked through some of the transitions happening in Borough management team, dozens of citizens got their chance to ask their questions.
Issues raised ranged from fixes needed on Barnegat Avenue and other streets, to the upcoming school bond issue and the town’s budget surplus.
The group also heard from Dan Malay, owner at How You Brewin and President of the Surf City Business Cooperative, about the efforts of that group to promote tourism in town.
